Plinth Bricks

Plinth bricks are used to create a single or double course splay detail, allowing change in depth to brickwork normally at the base of buildings. These bricks can also be typically used for windowsills and corbelling details. As one of the most popular detailing bricks, the plinth brick creates a base for the building and can be designed in many ways. A wire cut brick with a smooth surface can be used to contrast against a stock brick and tend to be more readily available.

The plinth brick is a remarkable architectural element designed to bring sophistication and charm to any space. Crafted with precision and attention to detail, this versatile brick is the perfect addition to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your home or commercial project.

Versatile and Stylish

When using plinth bricks, a 21mm upstand is generally used to ensure a regular straight edge. You can also order plinth bricks with a 9mm upstand, which is more suited to a wire cut brick. Always check your detailing to see whether you are likely to need a wide bed plinth, or standard plinths for a traditional detail. Plinth bricks can also be produced in internal and external returns and in headers as well as stretchers.

Perfect for creating a defined base and adding character to your walls, plinth bricks provide a sturdy foundation and a stylish finish. Ideal for both contemporary and traditional designs, plinth bricks enhance the aesthetic and structural integrity of your projects.
